The ‘Honolulu Business Network’ is open to success-oriented business owners, professional, salespeople and managers seeking to start or expand a business.
Networking is linking people we know, in an organized way, for a specific purpose, while remaining committed to doing our part, expecting nothing in return.
We Love Referrals
Because we don’t charge a membership fee, we expect our members to actively participate and contribute. In other chapters, “slackers” have lost their membership for not participating, to make room for new members who will better represent that category. We prefer “movers & shakers” who will:
- Bring a “warm referral” for someone
- Bring a guest
- Meet with another member outside of the weekly meeting, for coffee, lunch or business
Relationships are needed for producing results beyond what we are capable of achieving ourselves. Relationships are about mutual commitments and are a platform for extraordinary results. Relationships make opportunities and results possible that could not have otherwise occurred.

Masters of Networking – Building Relationships for Your Pocketbook and Soul
by: Ivan R. Misner, PhD and Don Morgan, M.A.
The purpose of the ‘Honolulu Business Network’ is to provide a weekly venue, vehicle and forum to facilitate “networking” or relationship building.
You will be among some of the best business people, with the brightest minds, to help improve and enhance their respective business. Meetings are held weekly on Thursdays at 12noon over lunch. Members are expected to make their best effort to attend weekly meetings. However, we do realize that things “come up” from time to time, hence we have made allowances for members missing an occasional meeting. Please read our Absence Policy.
We do not belive in entitlement (just because you are a member of the group, you are not entitled to receive leads and referrals from other members of the group). It is up to each member to establish rapport and develop a relationship with other members of the group that will be conducive to lead generation and business referrals. The weekly meetings are just a starting point for development of your own business network, which we hope, and do believe, will eventually help your business grow and prosper.
All members are expected to use high professional standards and ethics in all of their business dealings. Membership in the ‘Honolulu Business Network’ is by invitation only and is limited to one person per business category. This ensures that there is no competition for referrals within the group.
Become a Member and start building relationships!
Come and visit us, then attend (4) consecutive meetings and meet with three (3) current HBN members outside of the weekly meetings before you are eligible for membership.
